I restarted the Music & Memory program, a program that aims to bring individuals’ memories back through personally curated iPod playlists, at Lincoln Glen Nursing Center. I have been volunteering at Lincoln Glen for over 2 years.

My Community Service
After my success with the Music & Memory program at Lincoln Glen Nursing Center, I decided to expand to the VA and brought Music & Memory to the veterans. Along with the Music & Memory program, I also started a Pen Pal program between the SHS Neuroscience Club and the VA. I have been volunteering at the VA for almost 2 years.
As a result of COVID-19, many students lost the opportunity to participate in summer camps. So, I designed and planned eight one-week-long sessions of a neuroscience themed summer camp, Brain Camp for Kids, for 1st to 3rd graders.
